B-N2OU-ontological-legacy-fold-its-cargo-workspace-into-the-root
apps/ontological-legacy still carries a separate cargo workspace. Folding it
into the shared root workspace is MIGRATION.md owner-gated remainder item 3,
and the pumice analog (T-X8CF) is the precedent for how it goes.
The ontogen/specta version reconciliation this once waited on is done. What remains blocking is narrower: this app’s tauri-specta stack is on rc.21, which pins rc.22, while the root workspace is on rc.23. The fold needs those aligned first — either by moving this app forward or by holding the root back, which is the owner’s call.
Value: one lockfile, one target directory, and the app’s crates become visible to the root workspace’s affected-slice CI instead of sitting outside it.
