B-2G0L-ontological-legacy-migrate-from-pnpm-to-bun
apps/ontological-legacy is the last pnpm holdout in a repo that has otherwise
standardised on Bun (root workspaces, packageManager, .tool-versions,
mise). Its MIGRATION.md lists this as owner-gated remainder item 1.
The blocker is concrete rather than a matter of effort: @ontogen/admin-layer
and @ontogen/admin-types are declared with pnpm’s github:...&path:...
git-dependency syntax, which Bun cannot install. Migrating means first
resolving how those two packages are consumed — vendoring, publishing, or
restructuring the upstream repo — and that decision is the owner’s.
Until then the app keeps its own lockfile and package manager, and the repo’s
tool-version guard (scripts/check-tool-versions.ts) deliberately does not
cover it.
