Plan the project in its own tool from the first day

State: open/proposed

SDF renders the module graph and the planning corpus, so the team plans, reviews, and steers the project in Ontological rather than in a notes app or in chat.

The maintainers and contributors who plan and review work, and any agent that needs the current plan to act on. Today that plan lives partly outside the tool that runs the work.

  • N-41AZ-vision, “The module graph”: “SDF draws it first. The first slice is read-only… Planning happens in our own tool from that point on.”
  • N-41AZ-vision, “The end state”: “The operator sees and steers everything from SDF: a local app over the engine’s status API and the CLI… The module graph is SDF’s map: every project, module, and rollup is reached from it.”

Phase 1 of the plan, “Module graph, in SDF first” (M-D2I1, milestone to mint): a module’s internal model and outside view are defined, and SDF shows the graph of this repo’s own levels with drill-down and rollups.
