T-9KDY-cutover-slice-task-work-shrinks-to-a-head-over-the-engine
State: planning/proposed · Impact: medium · Complexity: large
The ledger’s cutover retires the sequencing skills once the engine runs implementation work. This is the first slice: the task-work skill becomes a head that hands off to the engine.
Proposed
Section titled “Proposed”task-work keeps its prompts and delegates preflight, quality, sync, and PR steps to
sdlc work run-step. The orchestrate skill points at foreman run --once. Skill-prose lint pins
for those two skills are removed.
Acceptance criteria
Section titled “Acceptance criteria”- AC-1: task-work is under a quarter of its current line count and its steps call the engine verbs.
- AC-2: The lifecycle simplification brief’s heads-only rule holds for both skills.
Out of scope
Section titled “Out of scope”- Retiring pr-check, pr-respond, task-close-out (later slices).
Dependencies
Section titled “Dependencies”- T-H8OC-the-engine-dispatches-one-real-implementation-work-order-end
- Follows the lifecycle simplification track; must not add engine requirements that track does not have.
