T-WH73-fix-the-stale-python-runtime-md-reference-in-the-lease
State: closed/done · Impact: low · Complexity: small
The lease-authority resolver’s error message pointed a real user at
conventions/python-runtime.md, a doc that had already been retired,
leaving a dead pointer at exactly the moment someone hits a
lease-authority misconfiguration and needs the real doc. Phase 0 of the
sdlc 1.0 plan called this out as a stray one-liner folded into Phase 1’s
own tracked work rather than a separate phase.
Before this fix, _common.ts’s lease-authority error text cited two
docs: the nonexistent conventions/python-runtime.md and the real
lib/services/lease/README.md. Anyone who followed the first link hit
a 404 in the vault.
Proposed
Section titled “Proposed”The error message cites only the doc that exists.
Approach
Section titled “Approach”- Located the stale citation in
solutions/ontological/lib/services/lease/ops/_common.ts. - Deleted the
python-runtime.mdline, leaving theREADME.mdreference as the sole pointer. - Verified no other lease error path repeated the same dead citation.

Acceptance criteria
Section titled “Acceptance criteria”- AC-1:
_common.ts’s lease-authority error message contains no reference topython-runtime.md. - AC-2: The same error message still cites
lib/services/lease/README.md.
