State: planning/proposed · Impact: high · Complexity: medium

A control unit on the graph is only useful if you can open it. Selecting one should show its outside view and let you drill into its internal model: the decisions, capabilities, and work in its planning directory.

Selecting a control unit opens a detail view: summary, published surfaces, capabilities claimed, relations, and rollups. It lists the unit’s member code modules. A link opens SDF’s entity lists (/model/entities, /model/tasks, /model/milestones) filtered to the unit’s planning directory. A nested unit opens the same view one level down.

  • AC-1: Selecting the solutions/ontological unit shows its summary, surfaces, capabilities, relations, rollups, and member modules.
  • AC-2: The entity link lists only the entities in that unit’s planning directory.
  • AC-3: Drilling from solutions/ontological into desktop shows the desktop unit’s outside view.
  • AC-4: The view is read-only.
  • Editing entities from the drill-down.
  • Rollup definitions. The decision owns them.
